Us.
At Xecué, we believe in the power of wine to connect, celebrate, and give life its special touch. Our story began in 1998, when Alberta and José Luis, united by their love of wine, crafted their first bottles to share with family and friends. What began as a hobby soon became a passion that led them to found Xecué in 2005.
Since then, we've grown with the same essence: creating authentic wines that reflect our land and our history. Located in Baja California, we cultivate each grape with dedication and transform each harvest into a unique experience. José Luis, with his experience in winery operations, and Alberta, the winemaker and creative soul behind our wines, have built a brand that unites tradition and freshness in every bottle.
The name Xecué comes from Sekui', a Kiliwa word meaning "in love." For us, it represents more than romantic love: it's a connection to the land, a passion for wine, and a fondness for the small moments that make life extraordinary.
Today, more than a winery, we are a meeting place. Our Tasting Room, open since 2012, is a space where every glass strengthens bonds and every toast is a shared story.
In each Xecué label we carry the soul of Baja California and the spirit of those who enjoy wine with authenticity and pleasure.
Welcome to our story.
